Free Mac Video Editing Software

Hello,

I apologise for not making an effort to google this carefully, but I'm having a rush of a day, so I was wondering if anyone knew any free (or very cheap), video editing software.

I'm not looking for anything like Premiere quality, but enough to cut scenes, delete bits, and dub music over the top.

It astounds me the way people ignore the software that was loaded on their mac when they took it out of the box :/

Have you thought about the fact he might not have iMovie? He might of installed a clean copy of Leopard without upgrading and didn't see any worth in buying iLife at the time?

Even if he had, when you buy a Mac the re-install disk that comes with it always has iLife on it.

Exactly, you can upgrade your OS and then install your old iLife.
