Free mince pies

I got a voucher in the post last week for a free pack of mince pies. This was from Sainsbury's though, the covering letter said it was something to do with a warehouse/stock levels SNAFU and these were an apology.

online gorcery shopping is thoroughly uninspiring.

The list in our house usually is comprised of essentials.

Everything else is usually from looking around.

I don't think you'd get that from buying online.

That said the Tesco near me is currently having building work done on it, so it is a bloody nightmare, as the aisles are half as wide as they should be, all so that there's more bloody room for clothes :@

Theres another deal too with Tesco iirc. Saw it when reading emails in Hotmail before. £50 spend though.

Edit, its £5 off with your first £50 or more order.

You don't waste on impulse buys online, I buy what I need from a list and online is cheaper too with codes :D Shopping in store is boring and a waste of time imo, easier and less time wasted to get it delivered when you'll be home.

Never really used online shopping. The rents usually go on thier way home from work to get essentials. Might see a couple of things they want as they are going round.

I guess if I was living on my own then I would buy online. Its a lot easier, takes the hassle of out going round the supermarket after a hard days work when your knackered.

Can you pick delivery times on specific dates too?

Yep, 2 hour time slot.

They aren't free though.

They are when you're buying anyway. What's the problem? If you're not interested then don't post, for anyone buying from Tesco (as per the thread) then they are free. Don't you have anything better to do?

Wow, you're very serious!

Yea I do, I'm watching Curb Your Enthusiasm and eating my dinner. Can do this too though!
