I meant something that launches with your mail program and not sitting in your tray hogging valuable cycles, but a ta for a good suggestion, though it is out of the question as I have no money. Ta anyway

Try http://popfile.sourceforge.net/

Sits between the intarweb and OE. Tags mail according to your settings then use OE filters to move the tagged mail around.

Why not try Thunderbird instead of outlook express. Comes with spam filtering built in. It looks better and is very customisable as well.
