I can see why it's free. As a stand alone it seems very clunky and heavy handed. As presets I suppose it has it's uses, but the only photos I've found that it was any good with were landscapes. There doesn't seem to be anywhere near the level of control you get with Photoshop/lightroom/elements.

I'll have another play with it when I'm off work next, but honestly I don't think I'll ever use the standalone program again.

When you say before and after, are you saying you edited both from RAW? I couldn't get it to have anywhere near that level of processing. It just slapped a preset over the RAW file. Granted you can use multiple layers but in a quick use I don't think it's anywhere near as usable as Lightroom, etc.

If you've got lightroom your much better off using it as a plug in, the standalone software is really only aimed at those that don't have anything else and as people have found it's pretty clunky.

To be honest, I can't see me using more than two of the presets in Lightroom, although occasionally I'll try a preset and work from there. I'm pretty much set with my B&W processing but can never get to a happy place with colour processing. Colour sucks, yes that's it :D
