Free roam around a 3D object on a webpage? Any ideas on how to do?

Currently iv been working on a 3d model of my local kart track. My first plan was to make it so people can view all around the track there selves but it failed. So i made a animation of a camera flying around the track and uploaded to the kart clubs website. Now im trying to decide on another way to get a 3d object on the webpage. Iv asked a friend who is a flash expert to try and make an addon for adobe flash cs4 but he couldn't do anything.

anyone got any ideas?

All I see are i9mages and an area where a flash object should have loaded but hasn't.....

yes. there should be 9 updated images and a flash at the bottom what i exported from 3ds max.

What about using unity to import it then publishing to webplayer ?
Could even create a car at let people drive around it

Heh, my mate works for Unity. If you go on the 'company' link on the website he is the guy with the beard in the beanie to the left of the company pic.

Maybe check out VRML and something like the Cortana 3D player to embed it into your web page?

BBC has a load of Virtual Tours on their website that are a mix of 3D Panoramic images and full 3D models such as this one http://www.bbc.co.uk/history/british/empire_seapower/launch_vt_endeavour.shtml

Got more help here than people on a 3dmax forum...Now im just trying to find a exporter for 3ds max to import to unity3d

Does it not have native support for .max and .3ds files? According to; http://unity3d.com/unity/features/asset-importing it does.

I want to import a whole scene. Iv found a export thing to FBX. And nope it doesnt, i was kinda hopeing it did!
It says here that yu place inside your project folder and it automaticly imports. I see nothing of a kind.
