Free Software for Converting Avi to DVD

Hi there,

Is there any decent free software that will convert a Xvid/DivX AVI to DVD for playing on a DVD player?

for ease of use & best quality go with The Film Machine
or Maybe AVI2DVD which is part of DvD2SVCD

I have found convertxtodvd to be the most durable and least hassle. As for sticking strictly to dvd standards, well, we won't go there but if it is a recentish dvd player it should cope fine.

Is ConvertXtoDVD a dual-core supported program - as in, will it use both cores.
