Free Video Conversion software recommendations?

I'm looking for a free, simple to use video conversion program so that I can convert my 3gp phone videos into Wmv format. Ive been looking around on the net for a couple of days but everything I've tried so far either hasn't had the option of converting to Wmv or simply doesn't work properly as the files once converted still will not play even though they have the .Wmv extension. Can anyone recommend a good, basic and free to use video converter?

I use SUPER. It's a bit clunky but converts to and from pretty much everything.

UPDATE -Ok tried it, but wayyy to much spyware and tracking cookies for my liking so uninstalled. Any other recommendations? I just want a simple free file converter.

Did you definably get SUPER. Their web site makes it easier to download the AVS video converter that's advertised on the site then it does to download their own product.

SUPER has no Spyware or tracking cookies. I've been using it for years without issue.

Go here, scroll to the bottom and click the Start downloading SUPER link, the scroll to the bottom and click the download Super set-up file link.

I got Super direct from their own site. Didn't want to install real player as well but super needs it to run. Avg is reporting tracking cookies left right and center with both real player and super.

There must be other convertors out there, can anyone recommend me one?

I'm just installing Prism now, it looks pretty good from what Ive seen on the official site. I'll let you know how I get on.

Well, I'm very pleased with Prism and the extra add ons you can optionally choose to install which I find work very well and are very easy to use which is exactly what I was looking for. Thank you to Tysonator for recommending it and also to everyone else in this thread.
