Free Wifi setup for restaurant

Hi guys,

I was trying to find recommendations for any setup best practises or good guides on the best way to config a free wifi hotspot for my friends small restaurant.

I know how to configure the actual wifi, but security wise whats the best way/any tips and some places require sign-on - is there a best way to do this?

Mikrotik has a hotspot feature built in which would do this well. You can limit the total amount of data downloaded per client and harvest details as well.

Simplest, a bog standard router with a daily/weekly change of the guest WiFi password written on a board.

Does mean you have to login all the time and change it though.

DDWRT Tomato firmware can be setup as per your requirements.
