I've only really heard of the main hard drive manufacturers to be honest eg. seagate, hitachi, wd, maxtor etc. But is Freecom any good?
I'm looking to get an external drive for backup purposes, seen this one...

for ~£100.
If it is not reliable then I don't really want to risk it at all, does anyone have one? Any problems with it?
