Freedom2Surf are owned by Pipex, who are owned by Tiscali.

How much do you usually download? £13.99 isn't going to buy you a lot of downloading...

If you're on an exchange that can get O2's LLU, you'd be better taking a look at that (or any ISP other than the Pipex/Tiscali chain of crap ISPs).
Newnet do £16.95 a month with a 12GB allowance, though I can't vouch directly for how decent they are (but it has to be better than Tiscali). Thinkbroadband think they're better than MaaF/F2S/PN though.

If you can get O2's LLU offering you can get up to 16Mbps for £10 a month with no limits, or £7.50 for up to 20Mbps if you look in the giant thread in this forum...

Is their after sales support a pain in the bum then I take it? That seems to be the running theme from what I've read!

Newnet might be of interest, is a little bit more than I was willing to fork out.

Just wasnt happy having to chase them up for something that is meant to be provided within 5 days or wahatever it was. Apart from that I had no issues whatsoever. It suited my needs at the time until I needed to move elsewhere.

ADSL24 do a 30/300GB package for 19.99 pcm - which is the one I'm on.

30GB peak time/ 300 GB off peak. I've never used it all and max dsl for £20 is good.

But I need a monthly contract and not to be tied into 12 months though. I'm likely to be upping sticks within the next 3-6 months or so. And I can't get their LLU offering either.

Ah, fairy muff.

UKFSN have a 3/30GB for £16.50 (monthly contract). I imagine ADSL24 have the same, or most of the Enta resellers...
