Hi.
I am looking into freesat HD and would like to use my PC to do it. For the last 3 years I have been using BBC iplayer to watch TV and just over a year ago I bought a 42”Toshiba REGZA but the analogue signal was so bad that I could not watch it so still just used iplayer. Last month was the digital switch over so I tried to see if I could get anything and now I have about 12 channels and some radio stations.
Any recommendations, I have 2 PC’s that I can use as a starting point but will need some upgrading.
One is a 3GHz Pentium D and the other is a core 2 duo 1.8GHz.
Thanks

Jesmond

There's no need for insults.

Anyway look at the Hauppauge Nova HD S2.

As you say, your PC may need upgrading. A cheapo ATi 4xxx should do it.

Sorry misread , appologies

Hauppauge Nova HD S2 , I have 2 of them , they are expensive but great
If you are looking for a decent free pvr have a look at gb pvr

You could try an aerial amp to see if yo can get any more channels thru freeview
