Freesat issue

Hi all,

Finally in our new house and after hours of painting I got the new TV setup. It's a Samsung UE43RU7470UXXU with Freesat installed on. We have an old Sky dish on the roof with the wires still about so I've connected one straight into the Satellite connector on the TV. It goes through the motions, finds the channels and radio stations.

When I come to watch freesat, all of the channels appear to be there in writing and the TV guide shows that I'm connected to freesat but I get no signal on everything. Does this sound like a potential dish issue?
 
It could be your LNB is for Sky Q which I think uses both cables to receive and decode the broadcast.

Older Sky setups used each cable as individual streams so you could use for Freesat.

Hopefully someone will correct if I am wrong :p

Thanks. The satellite is within easy'ish reach and going by amazon it seems like a reasonably simple adjustment. Just need to wait for this wind to die down haha!
