freesync/g-sync that good?

OK so I'm now sold on getting a g-sync monitor thanks to your comments. Anyone have any comments on either AGON AG241QG or Dell S2417DG? Both seem very similar and have positive reviews but the AGON slightly edging it on price. Looking forward to seeing what I've been missing out on so thanks for the help.
I use the AG241QG running at 165hz with Gsync enabled at 1440p. I’m really happy with it. Nice and smooth running BF, PUBG and much of the FPS stuff. Worth it IMO

I have this and the difference between 60hz and 144hz is big when i mean big it is a big difference so yeah 60hz looks like a blurry mess where 144hz is a lot better with motion clarity and smoothness.

All i need now is a vega 64 graphics card to enable free sync.

Also the blacks and colours on this monitor is better then my old dell monitor so am happy.

My basket at Overclockers UK:
Total: £511.69 (includes shipping: £11.70)

yes it's that good best decision i made was selling my 1080 to get my vega 64 just to use freesync on my monitor, it really makes a difference no doubt about it. ordered a dell 27" 1440p freesync monitor cant wait till it arrives on thursday.

Yeah, same here it was a good decision but not cheap at 500 quid but worth it especially this monitor.

For any gamer 144hz is a must in my opinion..for those stuck with a 60hz monitor, plan yourself to get a 144hz monitor it will be worth it seriously with free sync prehaps.

I had the Dell and it was very good.

I went from a 970 paired with a 24inch AOC gsync (1080p max) to a 1070ti twinned with the dell s2716dg and it was a massive step up. Love Gsync and for a TN panel, the Dell is very good in terms of colour accuracy when tweaked with a datacolour spider.
