FreeSync not supported? WTF?

Hey guys,

I have just setup my new dual monitor setup..and I got a Radeon 390 as a tempory card..but in the display settings it says for both monitors (one connected via display port and other HDMI) that FreeSync is not supported..

They are only 75Hz refresh monitors so I thought that they would be OK on this GPU??

I don't think you can use dp and hdmi simultaneously and still have freesync unfortunately. Has to be one or the other.

I can call false on this one I using two BenQ Monitors 24" is HDMI and the other 27" is DP and Freesync

What about using a HDMI to DP cable? Or does the output need to be purely DP?

Say the monitor can do Freesync over both HDMI and DP

Vertical sync FreeSync: HDMI/DisplayPort: 48 - 75Hz

Have you tried a full clean install of the AMD drivers?

It shouldn't matter as it should support both DP and HDMI independently in FreeSync, sounds like a software issue rather than the hardware itself.

Did u switch to DP 1.2 or higher capability in OSD yet? I had to switch that on my AOC.

Might need turning on in the monitor settings.
