Hey everyone,

I ordered this monitor over the weekend, it arrived this morning, setup was easy... Aside from the fact that I cannot seem to enable Freesync, in the (latest and previous) driver the option is greyed out, and it says "Not supported".

After looking for information, I read that some monitors need to have certain features disabled in the OSD in order to be compatible with Freesync, so I had a look through the monitor's quick guide, and that did not provide me with any hints.

So I had a look at the OSD settings myself, but I do not really know what I am looking for, also if there is a Freesync on/off setting in there--I do not see that either.

So, any ideas? Thanks.

I'm assuming the freesync setting is in the OSD..and once turned on...should be enabled in the the driver software , crimson ? the driver is the 15.3 i think ?

Well this is what I was thinking, but I'm fairly confident that I have been through all the OSD menus, and haven't found an option to turn it on yet.

Yes, I am using the latest AMD driver which is Crimson 16.3.1, I was using 16.1 earlier, same results.

It'd be nice if Acer would write a proper manual for their OSD, as they explain almost nothing in the quick guide.

OK...so I also assume you did a restart too ?.....I'm asking as when i setup FS.....i also could get freesync to work....but after a restart it seemed ok...i think lol
