Freeview problems, need advice!

Hi guys,

I bought a Samsung LE32C530 32-inch Widescreen Full HD 1080p 50Hz LCD TV today and have auto-tuned all the channels in but I'm experiencing a really bad reception on channel 71 - Cbeebies.

It is very stuttery with what I think are called macro block errors etc.

I haven't checked every channel yet, but all the big ones seem fine.

My last setup (an ancient Sony TV and a cheap and very bad Alba freeview box) was fairly fine.

Any reason why 71 is so bad? What is the solution? A signal booster?

Have you gone into channel info (read your manual) and checked the signal strength and quality? It's likely other channels are affected as it's usually a single mux that has problems.

The one BBC is on is bad on mine....rain and its gone. I can't even get Dave etc. My landlord/lady have never sorted the aerial for me. Lucky I'm moving out soon
