If I was getting an aerial installed I would definately ask friends for a recommendation. I would also go and have a look at the job they did in the friends house. I think it's worth paying for a decent job with regards to aerials as there are loads of cowboy installers about!

Yes because thats soooo accurate :p Apparently I can't get anything according to that site, yet my crappy indoor ariel mounted outside get a great Freeview signal. :D

I bought my box from Currys and asked if it was ok to bring it back if there was no signal and they said that was fine. Try them.
 
Tried a one of those £2 aerials and can pick up freeview just fine :eek:

Just bought a Televes DAT 45 with MRD for the loft a nice bit of kit :D .

That's one huge aerial you have Demon. Do have the MRD and power supply unit for it, If so did you connect that to the loft distribution amp as the power supply unit only has two outputs ?
