Hi folks!,

I recently bought a machine from OCUK but the thing keeps freezing while playing games. It was overclocked when it first arrived but I've since reset the BIOS settings to standard settings and it still freezes.

Intel CPU Q6600
Ram - 4Gig (4x1)
Motherboard - Asus P5N-T Deluxe
2 x Nividia 8800 GTX (SLI)
Windows Ultimate 64 Bit

Does anybody else have a similar setup with similar problems?

...or am I special? (please don't answer this one)

you got a product that didn't work properly, so why didn't you just speak to OCUK about it?

Yep, I had already sent off a tech support request to OcUK just before starting this thread. I just wanted to see if other people had a similar problem.

For example, somebody might've been able to say: "Oh yeah, it's a common problem on that board. Just increase the voltage on x and the problem will be sorted."

Makes sense? :)

Dont do anything to jeopordise your warranty, its made pre-built and pre-OC'd, if it doesnt work how it should you have every right to send it back!

No worries. I don't plan on doing anything that'll break it. The voltage comment was just an example.

I'm sure all my parts are just fine. I think it's just a compatibility issue. Maybe 4Gig of ram and Vista 64.

Then I also hear Q6600s and my motherboard don't exactly get along. Then again, if you look for a problem on the internet then I'm sure you'll find somebody with that problem. :)

I'm quite sure I could find somebody whose toaster explodes when they turn their computer on if I wanted. haha. That's not to say there's a problem with their computer or their toaster. It's just one of those things!

Life is complicated :)
