Murray in a bit of trouble, 4-6 first set to Stepanek. Stepanek's just broken him again, 1-1 in the second

Now he's in mega trouble. 5-3 down in the second. The longer it goes on his fitness will give him an advantage so Stepanek has to take the third set or he could get flattened quickly.
Stepanek misses a simple overhead for 40-15 but he has a set point now.. And takes it!

Took the 3rd set 6-0 and 2-0 up in the 4th. This is where fitness comes into play.
Really i'd just give Rafa the title and be done with it tbh.
Djokovic and Murray have both beaten Rafa on clay just prior to the French.
Easy win for Murray. Has to be tournament favourite now.
That was a very tough match for Murray, certainly not an easy win.
My money would be on Djokovic this year, I think.
Looks like I need to work on making my sarcasm more obvious.
Nadal is still strong favourite for me. I think you could make him play with one arm and i'd still consider him favourite.
He's not had the best preparation but he seems to just turn it on for the French Open and I expect him to do the same this year.

As for the men... not a clue. Novak would be favourite on paper but he still hasn't won this yet. I need to see Nadal play a bit first. Assuming Novak/Nadal win all their matches, it should be a great semi.
edit: I really would love to see Murray win it. He's still in it so anything is possible but he needs to coast through the next few rounds to make it easier.

I don't think Nadal is quite there yet. I think he's just a little behind Murray and especially Djokovic on clay at the moment, could still turn it on and win it, but for me he's not the nailed on winner this year.
Murray could definitely do with a couple of quick wins, but he seemed to be trying very hard to beat himself in the last two matches. Very hard to watch at times.

Man of Honour
Murray through against Gasquet today, he did make it that bit more difficult than it needed to be though by losing the first set from what looked like an eminently winnable position and letting a similar lead slip in the second before winning the tie-break. Still at least he's into the next round.
Djokovic into the semis with a comfortable win over Berdych. Going to take an one heck of a performance to stop him winning his first French Open.
Murray will have to play consistently well to get to the final. If he gives Wawrinka chances like he did against against Gasquet, he will lose.
