French Open Tennis 2016

Murray been poor on his serve big time he not been as good for a long time since he was coached by Lendl the stats just shown say it all.

It would be great if Murray could pull this set off and it went to a 5th set. But Djok will finish it off at 6 - 4.

I wonder what odds I'd get on Murray winning this match and then the Aussie Open next year so he completes the career grandslam before Novak. :p

Well done to Djokovic, it did look as if the pressure of serving for the match got to him a little bit but he was the better player on the day and Murray didn't play as well as he did against Wawrinka in the match before. Even a year ago I doubt anyone would have expected Murray to get to a French Open final so this has to be viewed as a success. I hope that Murray does manage to add to his tally of grand slams although I think he's a bit unlucky to around in an era with three of the greatest players ever, they've no doubt helped raise his game as well though.

Murray needs Lendl back; someone to kick his backside and be tough on him. He needs someone to drill some mental toughness into him. He really needs to work on that, because without it, he won't win another slam if he comes up against Djokovic.

Was going to create a thread for Queens and post that earlier but forgot. Lendl's tied in to a contract with American tennis so not sure how much coaching time he'll be able to afford Murray.

5 Queens titles for Murray now.

Played some amazing tennis after going 3-0 down in the second but really concerning how easy his game unfolded after he lost the first point of the tiebreaker in the previous set.

On to Wimbledon and a further title for Djokovic.

I don't know, anything can happen. Obviously the favourite but there's a lot of tennis to be played, Djokovic is not unbeatable.
