I need some help.

I'd been having some issues with my computer not booting/posting, so afetr some testing decided it was the mobo that was dead. Bought a replacement (P5K SE) and everything was seemingly fine until about an hour ago when it shut down for no apparent reason and without warning. Tried to turn it back on and it powered for about 5 secs then turned off again. The longer I leave it off, the longer it stays on aftwerwards (if you get my meaning).

My system is:

e6600 @2.4
Asus P5K SE
Kingston 2x2GB Hyper-X Ram
Corsair HX620W PSU
Sapphire HD3870 Toxic

Any Ideas?

Sounds to me like the cpu cooler is not on correctly. Try reseating.

The cpu will be overheating and then cutting off automatically to protect itself.
