Hey, well...

I just built my rig up today and i have just been playing the Crysis demo about 5 minutes ago and there has been this high pitch noise coming from my PC when i play it...

It sounds like when a Kettles boiling, it's not a actually beep or anything it's like. Well, hard to descride it sounds like. I actually don't know another way of describing it, but i was wondering if anyone could help as i am really worried. When i go on the Crysis menu and scroll through the optioins on the left like start game, go back etc the noise changes.

Any ideas?

EDIT: Crysis is also running a lot more choppy than it was an hour ago. I think it might be my GPU...

Sounds like the power supply perhaps, what wattage is it?

The noise stops when loading screens come up, just when it's rendering 3d images.

Capacitors on the graphics card, sometimes they vibrate. Sometimes it is very quiet and othertimes its not.

I'd return it.

If i left it would it damage anything or reduce the life of my GPU? It doesnt do it that often.
