I'd never even heard of the guy until that South Park episode, then had to look him up to find out just how much of a **** he is. (though to be fair the episode was still funny as he's not exactly unique among rappers in this regard)

Likewise, I hadn't heard of his latest escapades at those MTV awards until the first batch of images were posted, I found out what happened by searching for "Kanye West" on Encyclopaedia Dramatica. Only even knew it was Kanye because someone responded with a picture from the South Park episode
