At the trainyard, not far past the entrance to the town with barkeeper? I used to get that a lot as well. I eventually got fed up killing them and just jumped across as many rooftops as I could to go around them.

thats the place. its happened a few times that ive been round there, but never on this scale. thankfully after i wandered away from the area the game cleared away about 3/4 of the bodies, changing the game back from a slideshow to fluid motion.
the only way ive survived is by hiding behind the crates and concrete slabs i was standing on in the photo, because they cant get you from there

i suppose i need to post a picture now
