There is simply no way that Aliens guy wouldn't have seen Babylon 5 and he can't be unaware he has a Centauri haircut. He must be trying for it.

If only other Sci Fi had three dimensional characters like Babylon 5 did.

Best sci-fi show IMO

In that genre, I'd certainly agree. Better than Stargate, Blake's Seven, Star Trek, BSG, Farscape, Andromeda etc, and I think by a fair margin although some of the Jesus stuff in it made me cringe.

I've also always wondered if Rob Grant and Doug Naylor had the balls to do a straight sci-fi show rather than a comedy if perhaps Red Dwarf could have been a world beater.

I felt they he was trying to portray christian religious stuff in it, at parts. Angels and demons, a resurrected saviour etc.
