lololol indeed. :p

So, this arrived earlier today. Quite chuffed. :)

Grats :). I received my CCNA one last month (took a while to get here due to being sent air mail).

I hope one day to continue on and get a CCIE, It's a very interesting subject.

CCIE certified people even get a plaque like this:

It's an orange smudge. Is that really what the colour photos are going to look like, or was that in the middle of a dust storm or something?

Cheers dude! Saving up some cash for a home lab for the CCNA/CCNP/CCIE (if I ever get that far).
Got a couple of bits and bobs, now saving up money for the switches I need, going to hook them
up to GNS3 for labs. :)

How long did it take you to get the CCNA after the CCENT (if that's the route you used)?
There's a testing centre near me opening in about a month, so was thinking it might
be possible to get ready for it in about 5 weeks.

Unrelated pic: here's something I made on a server in Terraria, took ages to make!

I got my CCNA about 3 to 4 weeks after my CCENT, learning from the CBT nuggets videos that I 'found' online and packet tracer (which has all the CCNA functionality, it only misses some functions of some of the specialised certification tracks) which I have as I'm a cisco academy student. I most likely could have done it in just a couple weeks as I did have some prior knowledge (I did a CCNA course 3 or so years ago as part of my degree, but the course didn't include the actual Cisco exam, so I was just using this time recently to refresh myself).

Right now I'm working towards an MCITP server admin certification, as I have zero windows server knowledge and would like to get some (I go for certifications to learn the subject matter properly, I don't just try to learn the minimum to get the certificate), also using the CBT Nuggets videos for this too :)

wow how long did that take you to do?, I've not played Terraria long but I've played long enough to know that is not easy to do.[/url]

I think it took something like 30-40 hours, I did it a bit at a time over a long period.

If you're interested in a couple of other bits, I've got a thread here: http://www.terrariaonline.com/threads/kalvindeanes-creation-thread.70846/

The Goku statue was built totally legit, around 500 hours total including finding materials. Some
of the materials were donated by friends/the community which helped a lot.

Everything else was built in the game, but I used hacked items to build them in order to save
a lot of time. ;)
