The kid surrendered, so they've obviously beat the **** out of him if he's all bloodied and is now clinging to life.

Apparently he was shot in the neck/throat and leg. He's awake but can't talk...

England's finest! Taken on my brand new 1 mega pixel Nikon potato.

Backstory and full size pictures:

I'm nocturnal and I went into the kitchen to make tea, and saw some bloke walking around outside in the gardens between my block of flats and the one across the street. This seemed very odd as it was around 3am at that time, and especially odd as he was walking between 2 piles of items which looked like boxes. He also had a bag on his back which he kept putting items into. I decided to call the police around 3:45 as he was still out there and it appeared as though he was talking to someone... Also, given his dark clothing and the fact that it was gone 3am, I thought he was breaking into someone's house/flat and laying out the items to see which were worth taking.

Police showed up about 5 minutes after I called them and they grabbed the bloke. They stood there for a while, talking with the guy while he pointed to things and then they got in their car and left the bloke sitting on a bench. Shortly after that the police woman I spoke to called me back and explained that despite looking very suspicious, he wasn't committing any crimes and in fact was spelling out a message to his ex-wife using rubbish and other items from the bins around the area, as they had just broken up and he wanted her back.

Now I feel like a moron for calling them.

Fin.

Pics of the guy before and after police arrived:

He was spreading rubbish in the street and he wasn't nicked?? Surely there's better ways to get back your ex as well. Sounds like a lame lunatic and can see why he was dumped in the first place!

I assume they felt sorry for him and just told him to clean it up before he leaves, though there was rubbish everywhere when I woke up this morning.
