Me and my dad spent this afternoon trying to remove the roots of a bamboo plant that was in the garden. My dad cut it down over a year ago and poured weedkiller on the roots. The thing is pretty much invincible, it took us over 3 hours to sever all of the roots around it and separate the core just to get it out. Think twice before moving bamboo from a pot to the ground, it gets out of hand really quickly.
