There is a law change vote coming up to legalise it. Will probably fail I guess unless they desperate for the taxes but I reckon it'd be cheap enough just using the sunlight out there

Sunlight's too unpredictable (dull days, no sun at night, plants grow towards it which could lead to crooked stems = less space...). They should've gone green (no pun intended) and switched to solar.

solar panel are only 20% efficient unfortunately though there is a government scheme where you can get them for free now.
It'd only produce enough power for a few plants and only in the summer in this country at least

Water power makes more and is constant, still only enough for a few plants with something this size. A big water mill wheel would do it if you happen to live next to a river and dont think anyone would mind
