Got bored during a 12-hour night shift at work, so decided to give this Minecraft thing a go. Pretty cool.
I started with just building a pyramid to see how the tools worked:
Then started to build layers to see how high I could get it:
That got boring, so I next wanted to see how high the limit of the sky was. Turns out it is the same as the cloud level:
Built a staircase up to the top so I knew the extents of my pyramid:
Then decided to try a framework approach to build it, rather than fill in the whole thing:
The view from the inside after clearing out the old building bits:
And the exterior, reaching to the sky:
Here's the .mine file if anyone wants to toy around.
