Mod edit - The notice your received directed you to the rules in the opening post which clearly describes what Hotlinking is and how to avoid it.

Just don't post images hosted on someone else's site unless they give permission, that's all/ Use imgur or something to rehost.

I just replace images hotlinked with ****** when I come across them on awstats, that'll learn em for hotlinking.

You can get a add on for firefox, which makes it right click then paste job

Hot linking is copying and pasting an image from its original site as opposed to you hosting the image yourself using a site such as photobucket!

If you're in any doubt always host the pics yourself and copy the tabs in order for it to be viewed here, also if posting in this particular thread always post an image and never quote and image or you'll earn yourself a holiday from the forums ;)
