@ 'brutal' 12hr work days, not to mention it was probably just for a certain period to meet the release deadline, which is perfectly normal for game devs and countless other businesses everywhere, then the fact they're not exactly working for peanuts and ultimately it's each individual's choice. Agreed that such hours shouldn't be for the majority in any way, as this is 2011, not 1846, but I've voluntarily done 84hrs+ a week for months straight and while I was a bit burnt-out, it's nothing to bitch about.
