Also, :rolleyes: @ 'brutal' 12hr work days, not to mention it was probably just for a certain period to meet the release deadline, which is perfectly normal for game devs and countless other businesses everywhere, then the fact they're not exactly working for peanuts and ultimately it's each individual's choice. Agreed that such hours shouldn't be for the majority in any way, as this is 2011, not 1846, but I've voluntarily done 84hrs+ a week for months straight and while I was a bit burnt-out, it's nothing to bitch about.

Actually these "deadlines" they were working hard to meet went on for months if not years. And its not like they had a choice, either work the long hours or have no job. It was like 12 hours of dev time crammed into 7 years from what i've read.

I can't do this to myself anymore. When I started, there was 'less than 12 months to go' on the project. Then, two and a half years later when I left, there was still 'less than 12 months to go'
