One of the beers I want to make is basically honey and heather with golden promise then used old aged hops to give it's long lasting 'preservative' (hops were originally added to preserve).

I present a picture of my very first brew last year.. Woodfordes Wherry after a good six weeks maturing!

All I can say is it tastes lovely Nick, I'd thoroughly recommend it. Bought it from my local Tesco at £1.67 per bottle :D
