usa has 110v I think its similar to what we use on building sites here with those yellow transformer boxes. Ive been shocked using one of those, rain/sea water drilling and it jars a bit but not really lethal

You sure it's an American plug? Looks like a European plug adapter to me?

If you look at the white multiway adapter and at the plug hole there is a metal earth on the outside edge like european plugs.
