Only the Orthopod appears to have screwed through the Fibula into the Tibia at the distal articulation!

Makes it a bit difficult to internally and externally rotate the ankle and foot.

Still should be fine once they're out.

Trust me when I say I much prefer this x-ray to the one I had when I arrived in casualty on Halloween. I keep getting told what a strange fracture it is/was but personally I don't see the attraction. Last 5 weeks have not been fun but the end is in sight. Pins out within the next 2-3 weeks then the joy of physio begins (tore the ligaments of that ankle in March so at least I know what to expect)

CRISPACS?

Shrewsbury and Telford Trust actually. Jump (not any more though:() at an airfield near Whitchurch in Shropshire.

Hit the deck hard, tried to get up, fell over, looked down and my foot was still flat on the floor even though I was near enough in the foetal position :eek: certainly a vision which will remain for a long time to come.

tinypic :mad::mad::mad::mad:
