Suree why not.. Erm i wish it was an amazingly good excuse as to how i broke it but... Yea, it's not. I was playing football and then the ball went over the fence, me being the lazy stupid person i am decided it was a good idea to climb over the 13ft fence instead of going round it. I climbed up it and jumped off landing badly and consequently smashing the bottom of my leg and cracking the bottom of my tibia. So 5 days in hospital and i come ut with that in my leg and 6 months after the actual accident i still have trouble from it.. The plate overhangs a lil bit and digs into the top of my foot when i lean forward and my ankle movement is very bad, wasn't offered any physio and have to wait another 2 months before they will re-assess and consider taking the plate ect out.

You make me feel lucky, I only have another 2-3 weeks in plaster then I have the 3 pins out. I *should* be able to at least partially weight-bare straight away. Already having had experience of the local NHS physio dept I have already decided to go private.

Also the Joshua Bell story was a nice read (someone needs to tell him that Stoke needs all the help it can get if he is feeling charitable)

Mine took 2 weeks (after coming out of cast/supportive boot) before i could put any weight on it and then it took a month or so to be able to walk properly. All the best with your recovery though dude.
