Spunkey - The lady in the pic is the same lady which made the now infamous quote at an atheists conference, so while she's obviously happy letting someone put money down her top, she's not OK with someone asking her out for coffee as clearly that would "sexualize" her, unlike the money/breasts thing :D

It was way more then just asking her out for a coffee, she was asked back to a randoms mans hotel room! Hardly normal behavior and her reaction wasn't as OTT as Dawkins would like to make out. :rolleyes:

I don't know when the picture was taken but there's at least two possible arguments that wouldn't mean she was being entirely as hypocritical as painted - 1) the photo was taken a long time ago and she's decided that her behaviour was inappropriate or 2) it's context dependent, with a friend a comment or action with sexual connotations might be viewed differently to a proposition from a random stranger. Then again she might be displaying double standards, that's a possibility too.

Not OTT? He invited her to his room for coffee. That's it. Judging by how she herself tells the story, he wasn't being pushy, he wasn't being threatening, and he let the matter drop when she declined. How is that not okay? You could maybe argue he was being too forward, but from my point of view, that seems pretty moderate as these things go. Hardly crime of the century, hardly worth lambasting the guy, talking about him in an internet video as though he's some degenerate pervert.
