Charles Manson back in 1970. Charismatic cult leader who indirectly was responsible for the murders of at least 9 people. Some say there may have been more. The violence of these crimes and in particular the brutal slaying of 8 1/2 month pregnant actress Sharon Tate shocked America and the world.
46 years later, he still inspires misguided people to stand by him. Numerous sycophants run websites in his honour, raising money for pet projects of Manson's choosing. His recalcitrance for authority has never dimmed. The woman at his side calls her self Star, a name bestowed upon her by Manson. They hope to marry, but it's doubtful it will be permitted.
