Biggest generators I've ever worked on, absolute monsters. Pneumatic start sounds awesome. There are four of them as backup generators for Woolgate Exchange. There are no critical and non critical circuits in the building, these beasts will run everything right down to the Christmas tree lights.

That's a walk in the park.

You don't know what power is until you've stood between two 660 Megawatt steam turbines with a total of 2 high pressure steam stages, and 6 intermediate pressure steam stages, all spinning at 3000 RPM, whilst on a platform made of steel grating 30 m above ground level, vibrating like mad.

It would be funny if it wasn't so sad / indicative of the breadth of stupidity out there... I can't believe how many people are taking the "Tattoos ruin lives" posts seriously. It's a poor attempt at satire, but that's what it is... a joke... and sooooo many people just can't quite grasp that or even bother to look at the source :confused:
