Would be interested if anyone knows more about this. I took this whilst flying over Iraq to Dubai and it was a massive fire, I assume from an oil well. It was pretty Southern near the border with Iran and although there was loads of fires (as you can see in the photo) this was obviously huge to be that big, bright and visible from 40,000ft.

Anyone got any info about it?

I've been there - Sheikh Zayed Grand Mosque - amazing! During Ramadan thousands flock there as the mosque feed them, but not just rubbish food, food from the local hotels; 5* stuff!
