I got 4 numbers and 2 bonus a few months back on Euro Millions. Won £2,200. The number I missed was 4 instead of 5.

Was pleased with the extra money but still annoyed I was a number away from £35m

So close!

Sorry to rain on the parade but it's only close in your head just like it feels improbable to pick 1, 2, 3, 4, 5, 6 but it's statistically just as likely to be any of those as 11, 12, 13, 14, 15, 16.

I must admit it would drive me spare though.. I think being digits off a win would send me into alcoholism lol.

I am aware of the probability of winning the lottery, but when I have matched 6 of the 7 numbers required, only needing one more, the probability of winning the jackpot was 1 in 50.

I know it's almost impossible to win the jackpot, but I came close, and it is very annoying

Can't be bothered searching for an interesting or relevant image so have another from my trip to Kenya....
