I'm currently doing my pilot training and had my 'first solo flight' today. Just after I landed on the runway (thank god), this amazing Mustang did a low pass over me (~100ft) which sounded incredible. My instructors were quite jealous that they didn't have such on their first solo flights

P51 has to be one of my favourite WW2 planes, the engine sound is biblical. Good job there were no FW190's, 109's or Me262's around
