Mine is on teh blink I think, open freezer door to find food partially defrosted contents of fridge much too warm and needless to say freezer wasn't working, light comes on so definitely not a power supply issue. Thinking maybe thermostat but don't have a technical manual and theres nothing to unscrew its all sealed light unit and whatnot no screws anywhere, anyway it seems to have burbled back into life today its turned up to max to try and chill things down but I don't feel I can trust it anymore its easily 5+ years old and it wasn't a high end model so par for the course I figure

Anyway any suggestions for 176x55cm roundabout that size, split 50/50 fridge freezer unit nothing too expensive just a common or garden one will do preferably white I've been looking at prices they vary wildly for similar spec Amazon is quoting £289 for a Candy but the local Euronics store is nearer £330 for a Hoover brand unit, including delivery and removal of old, etc. Any thoughts? Rainforest one looks ok but users report them arriving with dented doors and whatnot which doesn't sound great anyone have any experience with them or go local instead? Or anything else? Delivery ASAP can't really afford to wait several weeks for it to arrive.

Cheers.

AO has the (I assume) same Candy unit for £279 and a Hoover for £289. They have their own delivery team I believe, used them a few times for appliances in the past and they've been spot on given they offer next day.
