We have a mini fridge that really only get used around this time of year, but before that my brother had it at uni for a fridge in his room.
The problem is when it's running it sounds like a howling gail. This isn't constant it's like when the cooling kicks in to bring the temperature back down, and I admit not sure how often this is. But lying in bed last night I heard it go off in the other room.
Any-thing I could look at to try and quieten it down?
I (and my bro) think it got damaged/knocked in transport once.
