I've had my steam account for 6 years now never had any requests from strangers ever, it's not private either.

I have had a few like these and have accepted them however when I ask who they are i get no responses so just end up blocking them. Most likely be bots.

I get them now and again, if I dont recognise them I just ignore.

It could be OcUK peeps but theres no way of telling.

I had one years ago and the person just kept messaging me to "chat" but I had no idea who they were, I asked if they were from OcUK and they said 'whats that?' lol. Ignored.

I check if they share any common groups first, if not Reject. If they do not say hello or say who they are then I unfriend and block.

Simples.

Get them all the time when I'm playing cs go ... iI'll accept just to get rid of the notification or by accident then 2 secs later I'll get about 10 messages .. hello ... hi .... hey there .... want to trade ? So annoying ! Then I just delete them tho so it's all good
