In all honesty, I'm not convinced. Actually, I think it gets in the way right now - if I go to a profile the first thing I want to see is very rarely going to be the Visitor Messages tab (I usually want the Statistics or About Me tabs).

Changing the tab order would solve that, but that still leaves the question 'what's the point?' - and I haven't found one yet (not just on this forum, but on any forum).
