From a Gtx 680 to empty wallet ???

A 970 can max out crysis 3 on my friends 1200p monitor at msaax4 and maintain 60fps, i think that would be a good investment at 1080p.

It looks like you have nasty adapters coming out of your gfx card rather than cables going from the PSU directly into the card.

If your case didn't look such a tight fit I would say go for the G1 Gaming though, maybe the HDD cage is removable.

You need to do some reworking.

The PSU goes into the card directly.

The fan on the rad will have two arrows on it (on the outside of the plastic frame), one shows rotation and the other is direction of flow, is it blowing in or out the case?

As I bet you have a fan or two at the front blowing air in and that does have a filter?

The PSU should have the PCIE connectors required to put into the GPU, there's no need to use adapters really

The rad is blowing out the back, The system was built by Overclockers. All I have changed is the Graphics card, New memory and popped a extra drive and bigger ssd in.

I do live in a super dusty house along with three shedding huskys, lol

Think I will strip and clean it. I do give it a air blast out now and then. Just the flash from my camera really showed it up, I feel ashamed now.

LOL cheers Bud, Well I went for the MSI GeForce GTX 970 Gaming Edition in the end, Fingers crossed it fits.

Hope its just a case of a straight swop.

Thanks for all the help everyone. Will update once new card is in and its looking a lot less dusty.

Oh and will need to find a home for the free Witcher 3 as I already have it. Doh !!!

Are you on the latest BIOS?

Would be worth you updating, as it may not like the newer card when it gets put in
