A family friend is looking to get his first PC. At the moment he primarily wants it for recording gaming off his xbox one/xbox 360 to be able to edit and upload onto you tube, but he is also open to gaming on it in the future. He's got a £500 to £550 budget and wants to go down the i5 route. At present he has nothing bar a monitor he can use. Am hoping someone here can help him with a spec of what he needs that will fit his budget, ideally something he can upgrade in the future. No immediate plans to overclock so stock coolers should be fine.

an hdmi capture card or 'box' would be needed say another 100

Thanks for input. I did spot the lack of OS pre-edit and a bit of reading up made me realise he will need one of these "boxes" not sure if he has taken this into account. He could lose the ssd to help a bit money wise and add it in later but have also been looking at some of the system configurator pcs on oc and wondering how they would hold up?
This one looks a similar ish spec and comes in built from oc at 504. Would this do what he wants it to as he has never built a machine before and whilst I have to be frank I don't want the responsibility when working with someone else's components. Any pointers positive or negative very much appreciated and thanks
