I'm in a hurry, but I just have to log in and let off a salvo in this thread.
The second thread shows a beautiful, healthy confident young woman.
The first photo looks airbrushed, edited, and is of an underweight unhappy looking young woman. Look around the face, neck and arms. Seriously skinny. Nice legs though.
My real point though is that so much comment in this thread reflects the position rammed down our throats all the time by virtually every segment of the media that photo 1 is good and photo 2 is bad.
The power of the media had corrupted your minds people, to believe that a thin bony unhealthy young woman is desirable - and by accepting this attitude you are inadvertently pressuring other young women into damaging themselves to conform to your (well not really yours is it?) stereotype.
