Hi guys,
I've moved house to a flat in Glasgow to be much closer to work.
Basically, I've gone from Wired to Wireless which is huuuuuge performance change when it comes to gaming on the PC (I heard stories, and the horrors are very much true).
Anyway, I play World of Warcraft mainly and a bit of Left 4 Dead 2 etc. and I do recieve lag spikes every 2 minutes or so which is quite horrendous.
The flat has internet connectivity courtasy of o2 Wireless Box II and I've got a choice of a Buffalo Airstation Wireless-G USB Adapter and a Linksys Wireless-N WMP600N PCI Card...so far, my Buffalo USB Pen has been the more stable of the two (On Windows 7).
Is there a decent set of hardware to create an almost 'Wired' effect with certain combinations of Wireless Routers and Adapters? I'm honestly not too sure which are good.
I also considered Wiring it...but would be a pain in the back side to do...that and I need to find a place to buy those cable pins so I can arrange the wires along the wall. I'm across the hall away from the router at the moment so, I'd like to ask for peoples advice on a good Router/Adapter combo before deciding.
